Biography
Pelta Law puts clients' needs first and work diligently to achieve their case goals. Marc Pelta is a former prosecutor with extensive experience in criminal litigation from the pre-filing stage following an arrest/police report to sentencing following a conviction from trial or a plea agreement. Marc has represented clients across California accused of any crime (juvenile/adult); as well as in civil harassment, domestic violence and elder abuse restraining order cases.
Criminal charges can result from addiction problems or mental health issues, and she works diligently to convince prosecutors to impose sentencing alternatives, such as drug abuse treatment and counseling, instead of incarceration or other harsh sentences.
Marc is an aggressive, personable advocate for his clients' rights, and he has a reputation among his colleagues and clients of thinking outside the box when it comes to developing client-centered solutions.
Marc is admitted to practice before all State of California courts, in addition to Federal Courts, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
