Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026.

This policy describes information handled through this website and the contact links it provides. Pelta Law is the criminal defense practice of Marc Pelta, 1390 Market Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94102.

Visiting the website

Vercel hosts this website. Serving a page involves technical request information, including an IP address, requested address, browser information and request time. Hosting and security services use that information to deliver pages, detect abuse and investigate errors.

Optional advertising measurement

With your permission, public information pages load the Google Ads tag AW-10848557348 for advertising measurement. Google may receive technical visit information such as IP address, browser information, page address, ad interactions and cookie identifiers. The tag does not load before you choose Allow measurement.

Personalized advertising signals and enhanced conversions are disabled in this website integration. We do not configure it to send names, email addresses, phone numbers, case details or retained-client status. The integration does not send a call or inquiry as a conversion event. Page addresses passed by our configuration omit query strings and fragments.

The tag is excluded from contact and attorney-intake pages, private areas and development previews. There is no session replay. You can reject optional measurement or change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer of public information pages.

Calling, texting or emailing

Calls and texts go to Marc’s T-Mobile number. These links do not enroll you in an automated marketing campaign.

The contact links open your phone, text messaging or email application. They do not submit a contact form to this website. Email sent to marc@peltalaw.com is handled through the firm's Microsoft 365 email service and includes the address, message and any attachments you choose to send.

Begin with contact information. Do not send facts of a case or documents until Marc has completed a conflict check and explained how to provide them. Making an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Telephone, voicemail and messaging services may store communications. Phone features may also create recordings or transcripts. Ask Marc about recording and the handling of your communication before sharing sensitive information. The website does not establish or verify a recording-consent process for a phone call.

Service providers

Provider Purpose Information involved
Vercel Website hosting and security Technical request and access information
Google Ads Optional advertising measurement after permission Technical visit information, ad interactions and cookie identifiers
T-Mobile Telephone and text messaging service Phone numbers, communications and service records
Microsoft 365 Delivery and storage of email sent to the firm Sender and recipient addresses, messages and attachments

See Google's privacy policy, how Google uses information from partner sites, Vercel's privacy notice and Microsoft's privacy statement for information about those providers. Your telephone carrier and email provider also process communications made through their services.

Cookies and browser signals

We store your measurement choice in your browser for up to 180 days. This preference is separate from advertising cookies. Google advertising cookies may be used after you allow measurement. Rejecting optional measurement keeps the Google tag unloaded. If you withdraw permission after allowing it, the page reloads without the tag and clears Google advertising cookies readable by this site. Browser settings can remove other stored cookies.

Access to a restricted review area may require an access cookie from Vercel. Blocking an access cookie can prevent access to a restricted area.

Global Privacy Control or a Do Not Track setting of 1 keeps optional advertising measurement off, even if an earlier saved choice allowed it. Essential page delivery and security processing continue.

Information requests

To ask about information you have sent to Pelta Law, including access, correction or deletion, contact Marc at marc@peltalaw.com or the office address below. Do not include case facts in the initial request. The firm may need to confirm your identity before discussing a record.

Information sent directly to the firm may be subject to professional recordkeeping duties. Contact Marc for questions about a particular record or its retention. This website does not promise a fixed deletion date for email or other information held by the firm.

Changes to this policy

Updates appear on this page with a revised date. Changes affecting website information practices will be described here before the changed feature is made available.
